It has been 45 days since Kabam announced that 6* will be joining the contest early next year. Most of the community reacted negatively to these news. But hey this is Kabam and they can do as they want with their game, so moving on...
...At any rate, one of their biggest promises was that "5-star champs would be more accessible".
Since then though, I haven't seen them implementing any new ways or updating the current system in order to allow the community to an easier access to 5* champs.
Obtaining a 5* champ continues to be as hard or as complicated as it was 45 days ago. With the current state of the game, the disconnect between their marketing department releasing alliance booster packs while in the middle of a bug crisis, and with these kind of promises not being implemented in any substantial form. Can we really believe anything they say anymore?
I hope we don't get to it, but perhaps it might be time to fire up the #boycott campaign again?
