So I made the mistake of opening a chaos rift crystal and not playing the challenge immediately. You’d think they’d make it clear by putting a clock on it or something. I had no idea I had to use it right away. So ridiculous...I’m beginning to hate this game with all its lame rules.

I’m confused. You opened a crystal instead of playing the challenge. How did you do the rift then if you opened a crystal? The time limit of 1 hour once you enter the rift was in the announcement and in game mail about this event

You didn't miss anything, the rewards are trash and out of date same as most other things in this game.
