Suddenly soul imprisonment doesn't stop symbiotic spideys Evade anymore, is this change intentional?

    Yes. His evade buff was changed to be a passive evade. So you can't nullify it anymore, only avoiding or bypassing it

    I guess on the flip side, it's a buff to the character on defense!

    I'd rather mcoc keep buffing/updating than not so yea.
