Can you film a video and show us?
1. What I usually faced, is that I thought I get a successful dex/evade, but in fact, I got a parry, then unstoppable activated, then I dex/evade successfully. Perhaps you may do a recording and double check.
2. I do agree on your 2nd point, the obvious one that will never trigger true strike is starkspidey sp1, I think Kabam need to double check on the SP recovery time once and for all.

Any hits taken will triggere unstoppable. Thats how I intercept and speed up my kill.

Sp1, Cornered opponent, hold block, get block dmg, activate unstoppable, medium attack to intercept and repeats.
