Oh, thanks. How are you supposed to fight him then, if him throwing s1 puts a weakness on you?
-
Hey, so I was thinking of using tigra for map 7 apocalypse. Tested her in a duel and for some reason, she wasn't making his specials miss (see video). Any ideas why? https://youtu.be/GsIHlXVlNQg Also, do you have any videos showing how to use tigra against magneto? Thanks man.
-
Doesn't the S1 only armor break if the opponent is a metal bleed immune? So would you have to make sure IMIW has one of his passive armors up when you S1?
-
Ahh ok that makes sense, thanks
-
I'm curious, why do you need to drop the S1 first before the S2?
-
So if you S2 first and then keep refreshing the armor break with heavies, would you be able to get to S3 and play as normal?
-
Yea I also don't see the animation on my Samsung s10.
-
As a disclaimer, I didn't find this to be too difficult and I'm kind of surprised they're nerfing it, especially by this much. That being said, I don't understand the "no one forced you to do it" argument. That can pretty much be applied to anything. Like CMM in Abyss or Act 6 content nerf (including 6.2.6 Champion nerf),…

Higher the better

High sig ghost makes a big difference, plus she is versatile enough that having both a 5* and 6* ranked up would be useful so you can run her simultaneously in content and AQ/AW. The others on your list I wouldn't rank up if you have a 6* equivalent.
-
Well, the obvious issue is that the range between cavalier and end-game player is HUGE. If this event (and cavalier difficulty in general) is intended for those who have done an initial clear of 6.1, then the difficulty makes sense. It isn't altogether surprising that they might struggle. If you are an end-game player,…

Yea the cutoffs are getting ridiculous. I had close to 15.6 mil and didn't get it.
-
Couldn't agree more with this. I wanted to post in the node combination thread as well but since they are saying that they're only looking at node combos and tactics, I feel like that really misses the mark. For example, window of opportunity alone is one thing. Add in flow and it's a whole other beast. Can't just…
-
I actually highly doubt this is the case. I strongly suspect that they know very well what the tough node/defender interactions are, and designed it accordingly. If we give benefit of the doubt and assume they mean well, then it's b/c they want to offer us a challenge. The other perspective is that they know it's going to…

Haven't tested it, but in theory, Morningstar would be the MVP for this. Just play normally until you get to 2 bars and then s2. No way they'll survive that with all their furies. I think the 2 unlimited power fights this war, my alliance mates told me they were getting to 30-40+ furies.
-
Yup, just like Red Guardian being perfect for that Book 2 Sabretooth. So many coincidences! lol
-
I encourage people to look at the champion spotlights for July's champions: Guardian and Sasquatch. At least for myself, when I read their abilities, it became very clear why the new AW map has certain nodes, why stubborn was introduced as a tactic, and why flow was left untouched. For example, they're both very beefy and…
-
Would add a 4th. Window of Opportunity with Flow pretty much screws you. Need well timed block to get rid of flow power gain. But with this, if you well-time block, stun gets reflected to you and you die.
-
Wait really? Did you test this and found he actually doesn't degen in second phase? That'd be insane!
-
Fury might work, after you get 5+ charges he can't miss. Plus after 15 charges, he's unblockable so can hit through oscillate. MIght be the way to go.
-
Yea ghost getting parried/dexed off phase intercept has been happening for many seasons (it's still BS though). Magik's heavy-s2 I didn't know it's no longer doable for war.. @Lunae it worked everywhere else too. Haven't tried AQ, but in story content or EQ or variants, it always worked.
-
Looks like ppl better r5 iceman I guess...thanks for the update
-
Does Medusa actually shut off the 90% damage reduction?
-
Yea I think it would count, but if you bring hood, you won't take the damage. However, once the new stubborn defense tactic kicks in, it seems like Ghost will be practically unusable in war.
-
Yea, totally agree. It really does seem like they designed 1 node, and then designed a second node to pair with it just to screw with counters for the first one. Hazard Shift + Cold Turkey is the perfect example of that thought/design process. Same with the Ebb and Flow knockdown + heavy hitter and Ebb and Flow Intercept +…
-
@Sensei_Maat @KnightZero so any idea if being immune counts as purifying? for example, if emma frost goes into diamond and shrugs off the debuffs, does that count as a purify?
-
So...with hazard shift and cold turkey, if it isn't a typo, it looks like the incinerate and poison only does 0.30 damage over 7 seconds, so basically it does no damage, but puts a debuff on you, and if you purify it, then cold turkey does degen damage to you. Does being poison/incinerate immune count as purifying?
-
Yea honestly I'm looking at defender placements right now and it literally looks like they took last iteration of war, found the pain points, put them on steroids, and adjusted it so that the viable counters/playstyles would be screwed over. For example: Aegis heavy is now replaced with ebb and flow knockdown WITH heavy…
-
The new defense tactics aren't coming live until next week.
-
Errrr, what options are there for dealing with Void on Cold Turkey? If you get rid of his debuffs, you take a burst of degen damage. If you don't get rid of his debuffs. You'll just die. So....what can you even do there? Ghost/hood won't even work with the stubborn tactic screws her.
