Re: I can’t beat EQ anymore
Bruh I did EQ in morning and it took me around 25+ revives and some pots to fully explore this Sh**
Not only eq design is sh** but also u gonna feel input drops and weird ai during eq fights
Out of every hard contents I did like necro, carina, wof i found this eq ai the weirdest one
The ai has done so stupid things during this eq run of mine I can't even describe and input drops is always there too of not registering dex and parry
Re: A different perspective on the new EQ
I agree.
I think the idea of an adaptive quest with adaptive rewards is great. It's just the execution is bad.
Rewards need to be tuned up.
Difficulty needs to be tuned down.
Forcing the classic run seems to annoy most, so get rid of that, or move most of the rewards to classic.
I think the criteria should be:
Classic: most players can complete this difficulty without boosts or potions. Fights should not surpass 2 minutes.
Elder: using boosts and some potions will probably be required, but fights still don't reach 5 minutes (unless there are going to be very few of them). Don't make this an Everest content. A lot of us don't like Everest content (due to difficulty and time constraints).
A different perspective on the new EQ
Going to be transparent, I have a 10m roster with 50 R3 plus 7*. That’s a much different spot than a lot of the game and I recognize that influences my thoughts.
Old Format:
- it was terrible. Updates came far too slowly for new difficulties, and by the time they finally landed the rewards were already dated, and posed little to no challenge.
- Paragon Gauntlet wore out quickly. A month long content with 6 fights at 300k health took 3 minutes total. It was a waste, and as above rewards were outpaced quickly.
- Valiant Gauntlet was a revelation, but even then it just wasn’t challenging. I don’t think EQ should be the hardest content in the game, but it shouldn’t be 30 second fights and out of here.
New Format:
- Classic difficulty is fine for me. It’s just normal EQ, but with significantly increased health and attack. I sit at level 6/15 with 28k prestige, and the health pools in classic sat at 700-900k. That’s perfect in my opinion, makes the fights long enough to feel worthwhile, but not too long where it’s a slog.
- having to do a run of Classic before Elder is fine to me, but the rewards are so back loaded it does feel a bit like you did it for no reason.
- Elder difficulty is just Valiant Gauntlet, but with even more health and attack, and this is where it gets iffy for me. I still had fun, but there’s some drawbacks.
- Attack Value is WAY overtuned. 25-33k attack throughout, you literally lose 4% health minimum on a parry. More if you take a hit into the block. With health not resetting, that’s an issue
- Health creeps up a bit into the slog territory for monthly content. 900k is about what I’d expect, but 1.4m is legit Everest content health pools.
- Other than the above, it was fun. 6* are rough to use even maxed, and 7* R2 was pretty much the minimum. Mystic and Tech in particular really stretched my roster thin, which I’m now using to target weaknesses.
- There is so much potential in scaling rewards. It’ll always keep the content current, and I love that portion.
Issues I Identify:
- I’m aware my roster is more developed than most. Classic I wouldn’t touch much, but if my roster is stretched in Elder, others are going to really suffer.
- Attack needs adjusted big time. 25k should be more like 12-15k max.
- if attack not addressed swapping should heal back at least a portion of health. Even something like “70% of damage taken is healed” would increase enjoyment.
Overall/TLDR:
- So much potential is here with adaptive EQ, and should stay around.
- Recognize roster limitations and adjust some of the numbers, especially for progressing levels.

Re: Is the new Event Quest actually worth doing? 👍🏽👎🏽
if you don’t mind using the equivalent amount of resources as you do in Everest content (more if you don’t have an expansive ranked up mutant roster) and you have 6 hours to waste… for slightly bumped EQ rewards.
Re: New daily quest energy consumption
I agree that Kabam's decision to remove energy refills from event prizes was not a good move. It does not bother me that much, because I only auto-fighted The Apothecary, but I understand some were doing more daily quests than me.
I did a test this morning, and the energy consumption for Daily Essentials, Catalyst Harvest (Paragon and Valiant), plus Weekly Supply, was not bad at all.
Daily Essentials - 20 energy
Weekly Supply - 40 energy
Catalyst Harvest (Paragon and Valiant) - 20 energy for each 100% exploration.
Total energy cost: 100. That is 1 Energy Refill and half.
Keep in mind that I've collected 50% T6 Basic and 50% T3 Alpha, plus 30% T6CC selector, 33% T5CC, T6 Basic and Class Iso, basic and class alloys etc.
Compare these prizes to 20% T4 Basic, T2-T3 Basic catalyst, etc, that we were getting for the same 100 energy cost.
A Paragon and Valiant player can get 24xT6 Basic, 24xT3 Alpha catalysts, a full T4 Alpha, 13xT6CC , 10xT5CC per month from these alone. That is the equivalent of little over two rank 2 7 star champions per month.
Before this, we weren't able to take 2x7* champions to rank 2 per month unless we played Battlegrounds on a regular basis, and we all know how hard it is to win fights in Battlegrounds.
CONCLUSION: Kabam did a GREAT job, in my opinion.
Re: How did they get it this wrong?
i think the skilled tester tested it challenge them so they think it's fine , but forgot some are casual , mid skill level or monthly content shouldn't be testing your skill for that EOP + WOF +Necro are there
Re: Kabam, Adaptive EQ Isn’t "Adaptive"... It’s Just Broken
5. Terrible implementation. This is a blatant money grab. Overcomplicated, unnecessary, grind heavy and the rewards do not match the effort. I think this will actually be a major problem for Kabam if they do not do something about it as for most people the monthly EQ is what brings them back to the game. Working through classic has been an absolute slog and I am not going to bother with Elder which means I'll be putting the game down.
Listen to the community @Kabam Crashed. Every content creator (who generally has a stacked roster) is saying the same thing. Mayday Mayday Mayday
Re: New daily quest energy consumption
I still don't understand why they dropped the energy refills we get a week to zero. I get lowering them if the removal of lower eq is the reasoning but then drop them from 6 a week to 3. To go to 0 a week just seems like a push for us to spend units on refills or the buy to daily energy card. I'd love to hear the reasoning why zero a week and 1 a month (from the calender) is now deemed an acceptable return. @Kabam (Osaurus) Rex @KabamPinwheel @Kabam Crashed
