Sorry @BringPopcorn this is just really annoyed us in the alliance and we all very upset about it, @Iceman_Omega_15 has never once cheated, let alone use any hacks he is a good player and a good friend of the entire alliance. This whole thing is very unnecessary to have been done on a Friday when KABAM knowingly will not help players wrongfully banned over the weekend (cause its their time off) that is utter BS

I know dude, I am seeing a lot and not being nice to some tbh; you can be upset, pissed all you want. Doing threats like that have no impact though. Think about it what would a major consequence be? 10? 20 people from your alliance quitting the game? They just banned 10k...

Though I have no data to back it up, I believe that the bans have been legit. I have not seen any regularforum member saying that they have been banned. While I know our numbers are small, if someone that we know had been banned (Bendy, DNA, Viper, Pixie, etc), then I would believe it more. Every account that has said that they have been unfairly banned is either a new, relatively new, or very infrequent poster.

But I will also gladly eat my words if it proves to have a ton of false positives.

You are either blind, selective in what posts you’ve read or you just haven’t read through every post on the subject. I have seen several regular forums members who have been banned. Oh, and when I say regular, I don’t mean people with thousands upon thousands of posts or comments or anyone that camps out on the forum 7 days a week, 365 days a year, but regular enough that their usernames are recognisable.

Agreed, they could have rolled this out better but let me add this...I'm in Indonesia by way of New York, I have a bunch of friends in China that downloaded the game via "apk", they haven't been banned so the whole APK thing that the community is blaming is not accurate.

Lets hope this gets sorted.

So a simple thought,
99.5% of these bans are probably legit...

Hacks/Mods/Software for these games follow the same fundamental rules, and the main one is that they are data houses, the software Hacks/Mods/Optimization you use for League of Legends will also attack/search for any other apps that it can push into, they are not designed to only work with 1 app. APKs are "open source" which means they have the ability to be tracked by any third party to recognize the system its being used in and constantly monitor that device.

That said, if you have ever used any Hacks/Software for any other app on your device, even if its not MCOC, there is a possibility of that software attaching to MCOC, whether you are using it or not.

Removing these "clients"(Hack/Software) does not actually remove 100% of it, because of the nature of these things, they will always leave a small component in your device to monitor and track your device, there's security software but most are fallible to a certain degree.

So....if you are using any software for...other games, social media, ecomm, tracking or anything else, chances are that software is looking for other things it can integrate with on your device and as a result, possibly MCOC.

It's not "multiple devices", "VPNs" or even moving to a new device that gets you banned.

I'm not attacking anyone, those that use Mods/Hacks...you know who you are, the penalty is what it is. Is there a chance that you are lumped into a error, yes, any new anti-cheat is bound to have some flaws as the ML/Ai sorts its learning.

Just my thoughts, with digital age comes digital issues, a lot of the things you DL to you devices are built with tracking, and tracking software can look like anything.

Good luck all, and really, careful what you download, 90% of the things you've put on your device, even 10 years ago, are still sitting there, whether you deleted or not.

So the ban wave for last season finally hit? Can't be a coincidence there are these many posts, big L for the modders.

Bro i grinded.....just see my contribution and then say

You can easily grind with mods as long as you didn't make it obvious and were subtle enough about it that you managed to get past the anti cheating system, unfortunately for you, you can't get past an actual Kabam employee who designs the game and knows what's possible and what's not.

I hit mysterium 3... If i had to cheat don't you think I would have gone for mysterium 1 or higher.......I have about 4.5M rating account why would I cheat

1. That means nothing there were modders in Celestial who didn't get banned right away.
2. Not if you're smart about it and trying to be subtle about it.
3. I have 5M rating, been playing since 2015 done with all endgame content no unitman and the highest I went was Arcane 1 because after that all accounts were over 7M. Sure you could argue you're better at the game but if I had to pick between that and you being a modder, then yes I'm gonna go with modder just not a dumb one.

There are many false positives with the ban wave including some reliable forum guys getting banned so watch before talking you can't take back what you said
