I will add…many thanks to @ThēMandalorian for trying to resolve this for me and everyone else.

The conclusion I would draw is that the crystals weren’t prepped correctly from the beginning, which affected the 2X offer and delayed any extra reward from it.

I submitted a ticket, but the response suggests the support personnel have no idea what’s going on. I’d like to think all of the confusion evidenced in this and other threads justifies the team doing something to make it right.

His regen is insane. It will never heal back up to full so it's not the "BGs regen" that most people want, but it will keep you in the game for a very long time. And like Ghost said, couple that with his Sp2 regen and you're golden. That regen in and of itself is extremely potent. It's basically the same that Adam Warlock has on his Sp2, just slower. But as someone with a sig 200 Adam Warlock, I can tell you that 10% of missing health per Sp2 can allow you to - for example - run Necropolis with Recoils despite the Willpower mastery being slashed in half in there. I haven't tested it since I haven't pulled him myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if Sabretooth could do the same.

I look forward to whatever vids you can make in the future, Ghost. Having ranked up a couple of "unconventional" champs in the past, I know full well how much use you can get out of them even if they're not "meta relevant". I have no regrets about taking Venompool straight to r3 at last year's Reunion event, nor do I regret ranking up Howard the Duck as my first r4 champ earlier this year. Both are awesome.
