Nodes/Alliance War to be more strategic/fresh
Since Kabam wants more strategy in alliance war..
Instead of starting with a global node, consider these.
Idea 1)
Imagine players being randomly given 5 nodes out of a pool of say 30 unique nodes) they can assign to each of their 5 defenders. (For example, bleed immunity, or a miniature "prove yourself", first 5 hits the defender is indestructible.). The player will be able to strategically assign these extra affects to their defenders (ideally before they choose which 5 defenders to bring).
Idea 2)
And two random missions (like win one/two fights with a champion not used last war, only use up to 5 boosts this entire war, win 3 fights in a row without dying) they can choose to complete for more alliance war points. Or even, missions they can assign the opposing alliance members.
Idea 3)
Or, a Alliance War mastery page (which our current mastery points don't add to) with 10-15 points that each alliance member has to add towards, (like female champ buff, tag buff (#avengers get 5% HP and attack increase), etc)
Defenders abilities take 20% longer to refresh, etc.
