AW boss resetting to 100% health

In our current AW, the final boss we were attacking was taken to around 30k by one or two of my alliance members after 3 kills.

I didn’t know this had happened and went into fight him. He was at a full health and I only managed to take around 30%.

I’m assuming he shouldn’t regen to 100% in this manner between fights?

    Does it matter, the final boss shouldn't have gone from what I assume is 15 ish % to full health

    It can happen depending on who you were fighting. Mephisto will regen to near full health if not full health if he's at 5 or 6 kills.
