Ironman Infinity War Bleeding with his armor up

Against certain champs including Archangel in the monthly uncollected quest (2.2 I believe, unnoded path) if ironman IW has more than 1 stack of bleed when his armor comes up he will only purge 1 stack and continue to take damage from the others despite his ability stating "immunity to bleed." I lost to Archangel because he kept a bleed stack on me while I had an armor up.
