Kabam moderators,
You did say that players would be compensated for the highest difficulty we fought Aegon at, and we didn't need to defeat him. This is correct?
I faced and lost to him on Master difficulty, but was only given the heroic compensation.

I noticed this as well.

Ive 100% UC, Master, and Heroic. I got:
3x T5 potion
3x T2 revives
3x energy refills

I thought that was underwhelming, but whatever.

Then my wife got hers. She only did Heroic. She got the exact same thing.

I can't find that thread now. But I am 100% certain that after the first moderate posted about the compensation, then the very next post the moderator clarified saying that you would receive compensation for the hardest difficulty you fought Aegon at. And that you didn't have to defeat him.

The correction wasn't very well worded - using 'fought' instead of 'beaten' was too ambiguous.
But I believe the original post was clearer:

Can I please get a moderator to respond to Kabam Miike's post? Does it not say that it is the highest difficulty you faced Aegon at? Simple yes or no question.
