Iceman can tank his S3 to get his cosmic potential, hit the air (much like switching NC) and he'll consume those and get a tiny amount of regeneration but crucially he won't be able to power gain for almost a minute

Gwenpool if you can intercept fairly well can one shot all 6 hyperions without worry. Hawkeye is also quite good but if you're unlucky and the AI goes passive you will be wrecked

Magik and voodoo are good counters.

Magik get one sp2 and keep hype in the corner and intercept into next sp2.

Voodoo get to sp2 with 3 loss up and even combo for power burn and then you can either do the same and/or bait specials and burn power with attack. As long as you keep the pressure on and keep 3 power burns up you’ll be good. Can also throw sp2 with odd combo and power drain or sp3 to keep from him getting his sp3 but I prefer power burn because can bait specials too by pushing him to sp1 and use attack for power burn.

The man in the yellow shirt, Luke Cage himself, is excellent. Exhaustion to reduce the power gain, a contingency against SP3s with his sig ability, and if you have at least 5 exhaustions, hype’s power gain works against him. This makes his SP3 stacking 4 exhaustions exceptionally useful
