Blocking issues

So I’m fairly good with my Quake, use her in close to about all fights so I’ve gotten accustomed to timing blocks really well (could say that’s the best aspect of my game, wish it was intercepting but eh) but the last few days, I’m placing my finger on the screen to block but nothing happens. She just stands there. It’s not happening all the time but it’s happening really often. Just wanted to see if it was my timing or is there a big going on.
