Corvus true strike 3.2 Variant

Can some people who use him religiously give me some advice.

I used Corvus in 3.2 vs the science drone, killed it with a sp1 and didn’t receive the upgrade for the spider-man fight next. Not sure if it’s a glitch or I did something wrong to not meet the mission requirements. That’s the trash panda team I brought.

You need to knock dpwn an enemy that evaded or auto-blocked at least once during the fight.
You can't knock out the enemy before doing that, otherwise you won't get the charge

It only turns to true strike if the proxima synergy is active. I will say you should still get the completed mission persistent charge though

You have to knockdown the AI with a heavy or special attack without getting the KO for the true strike mission to be completed

Yah, so using my sp2 and sp1 should have achieved the goal of knocking down the drone?

To who ever said I need proxima she’s the 3* taking up space on my team, right above my last 6* pull...

Key is to knock down without knock out.

Yeah kno Down but Not kille him. That why u didt Got it.

Yes I used multiple specials before killing the Ultron drone, that’s the part I don’t understand. I will parry and heavy next time and see if that does it.

To achieve true strike three things must be accomplished:

1. Have Proxima on your team with Corvus for synergy.
2. The champ must evade or autoblock.
3. You must knock them down without it being a knock out.

Only by doing those things in order do you finish the mission and receive true strike.

Truestrike is a buff, pilfered ated it.


Also had this typed out to cover all bases.

Many things could cause this.

1) Persistant charges are currently subject to a bug where they disapear from the game. You will not gain them or benefit from them if they are absent and will need to restart the game to correct the bug. You can notice this as the blue sparky bubble thing dissapears from the game.

2) True stike/true damage is a buff Corvus gains so it is subject to buff mechanics of the Pilfered node present and may have been eaten at the fight start removing it.

3) Like others have stated you need to knock down the opponent after an evade, during the fight and it cannot be the killing blow. I think the only knockdown occuring at the end of the fight is unlikely though so would look to the other causes.

As someone who uses Corvus/proxima almost every war. I can say that he definitely has a lot of bugs. It doesn’t always give credit for missions, his immunity doesn’t always work and I’ve found his truestrike sometimes doesn’t engage during the fight you completed the mission. Many of these interactions have been reported in the bugs section but I haven’t seen much feedback.

Thanks guys, I just did like the one guy said and restarted my phone if I didn’t see my charges. If true strike was pilfered I lived with it but atleast I didn’t lose it all together like the first run
