There are many powerful characters in the 5 star basic. There are many useless champions in the featured.
IMO, the 50% increase in shards isn't even almost worth the gamble. You could waste 5000 shards. Go for the basic, widen your roster, and eventually start duping them and getting 6 star shards. Focus on the better progression, don't gamble on the featured.
Honestly, go for the featured. The chance to get a good character is about 50/50, Which is alright if you arent feeling the basic crystal luck. All my 5*s have come from basics, and half of them are actually good or useful. Its just your luck really.
Got Corvus from a basic yesterday, but usually it's trash with either. If you multiply it out and save up, for 30k shards I'd rather have three chances at something good than two.
Don't be mad to kabam it's just luck...
Also if I were you I would go with basic since you don't have many 5* you should collect as much as you can and hit higher milestones in arena it will help your progress you will get good champs in time
Also good luck my dear Turkish friend

If you have to ask, you open basics.
Also, Quake and Yondu are not bad pulls. Even Yellowjacket is above average.
