Lost 5 star crystal from game crash

My game crashed while opening a five star crystal and lost the crystal in the process. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so did they get reimbursed for the crystal. I filled out a bug report. but if there is a better why to report it i would appreciate the information

I have seen similar issues in the past and it turned out the Champ was in the players roster they just didn't see it.
Also don't forget to check for potential dupes of other 5*s.
Alliance history may show what was opened if anything if you wanted to investigate before Kabam responds.
