Mighty charge debuff immune

Looking for clarification on mighty charge buff in uncollected. The node states that the champion is debuff immune while doing a medium dash. I assume this is to prevent stun on parry. However it currently purifies any debuffs on them as well. It reads as though they should only be immune to new debuffs while the mighty charge buff is active. It does state that it purifies.
Is this a bug or working on intended?
