Why can not I find an id even typing correctly?

I type id to find some friends in the search and only appears beginner players, search system is bugged?

The search function has never been perfect. Even typing in a name exactly doesn't always bring up the person you are looking for, while sometimes doing a partial-name search gives you who you want.
