My most recent released champion is Karnak most of mine are older champions. You just gotta make do with what you have, eventually your roster will build as more champs come out. Do as much as possible to get 4 star crystals. The more you can get to open the better. If you are desperate try featured crystals or arena but they are no garuntee every time.

You need to get grinding arena.
All my "new" champs have come from arena, except the 4* Hood I just pulled from a premium hero crystal.
