Lag Spike before DPX / VP Sp2

I have been noticing this for a few weeks now. Originally just thought was bad RNG or bad connection but it seems to have continued. I have seen this in AW as well as questing. There is no spike with L1, just right as they start their L2 jump (for all toons with this SP2 animation) which causes issues with the evade.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I am on an iPhone 7 Plus version 12.1.3.
