Is bane on act 5.2.5 working correctly?

I was fighting as my rank 4 5* Luke Cage, taking the easy path because i’m Whack at this game..

Anyway, noticed that the enemy champion does not degenerate 2.5% of their current health at the same rate as I did. I would lose 2%~ chunks of my max health, while the enemy, which respectively has around 75k +/- health, was losing around 92 health per tick. The description of the nodes don’t say anything about them having resistance to this effect or anything along those lines..

Can anyone explain this to your fellow whack sauce, wish you were good but you really suck, wanna be seatin man of legends summoner?

    Is based on base HP. The opponent's HP is just higher due to the nodes

    It's degen is based on the health of the opposition's health at the time of the bane transfer
