Help with Venom The Duck

I just pulled Venom the duck from a 5* featured ( wanted him for a long time ) and i was wondering if you have some tips on how to get the best out of him ( buff combinations or the best way to build buffs).
Right now because he's not awaken i try to spam sp 1 in the first fight to get the buffs i'm interested in(usually fury/regen/crit/power gain) faster then at the start of the next fight i use one heavy to double them and in the third figght i try to get the rest, my usual goal being 2 crit 2 power gain 2 regen 4 fury.
IS there anything that i should change?
