Aw attack phase start time

I’m confused by the recent message about changes to time of aw matchmaking. Particularly the line “earliest possible attack phase start time is 11am PST”

I know in past seasons : once you were matched , def placement was 24 hrs and aw attack started rt after

Currently I thought all aw attack phases started at the same time regardless of when you were matched?


The word “possible” is what what confuses me. Does the attack phase now start 24hrs after match is found again?

Once a match is found, you then have 20 hours to place defense before the attack phase begins.

All AW attack phases do not start at the same exact time.

Matchmaking now begins at 3pm PST and goes until 7pm PST. So the AW attack phase will start 20 hours from whenever your match is found.

Match found at 4pm PST? Attack phase begins at noon PST the following day.

Match found at 530pm PST? Attack phase begins at 130pm PST the following day.
