Mutant Ag and Omega red

I pulled him as 4 star and I still use 4 stars in most of content
So with the perspective Aq do he need awakening. Do he need high sig ability or awakening will work fine like DV
I got mutant Ag but no stones to invest . Should I rank up and use ag and replace my SL in Aq map5
My other option is ST.

Awaken him and run him with st. He’s great for map5.

His regen potential won't be affected by his Sig ability...but the damage increase helps finishing fights much quicker and the chance to gain unblockable tentacle hits help u manage a fight much easier...and he benefits from higher Sig as it increases that unblockable chance and the damage from spores
