I hope the game devs realize that something like this is seriously wrong.

6* champs should never be outgunned by 4* champs. It’s like a Ferrari 250 GTO being outguned and outclassed by a Toyota Prius.

Either beef up the purely garbage champs like Storm, Deadpool, Cyclops, etc. or remove them from the 6* pool altogether.

Whoever in the Kabam team decided there should be 6*s meant to be just for arena use clearly doesn’t have a vision or is clueless about what 6*s purpose should be.

Great work on addressing some of the underachieving champs. Request not to introduce them as a 6* if they are a duplicate champ (like cyclops, magnetos, Captain marvels) who all do the same animations and have nearly the same abilities.

That’s not say, “don’t put 6* champs unless they are top champs”. It’s only stating there’s a lack of diversity to have those duplicate type of champs as 6* (or any star level for that matter).

I don’t have a 6* cyclops (knock on wood) so it’s not a personal request. I do feel for those that have him and then pull the other version....

Thanks Mike. Appreciate the response. But two rhetorical questions here: How long would it take before I dupe Storm, and, why would I want to dupe a 6* Storm?

I am trying my best to see your point, really, but it’s hard to stay motivated when you wait 5-6 months to pull a 6* and they end up in arena.

Maybe at some point in the future have the option to sell 6*s for large chunks of 5* shards, T5B, T2As or T4CCs. I’m willing to sell an arena only 6* to help R4 or R5 a better 5*.

The problem is simple: some champions rely way too much on their signature ability to be effective at all. For 6* this means some champions are absolute junk. That's an issue developers keep ignoring. Champions need to be developed as if you would get them right out of the crystal. Signature abilities and synergies are nice extra's but shouldn't be all-determining.

I don't think selling 6* is a solution. You shouldn't ever have to sell a champion in order to progress in the game. Ever. The fault lies entirely with Kabam . Storm would be so much better if she would shock when crit and shocks decrease crit resistance. A small addition but with a huge effect on viability, seeing shock resistance and immunity is relatively rare in this game. That's what I like about the patch notes of two months ago: with small changes you can make champions better.

4*s are easier to Sig than 6*s. As is the case with 3*s compared to 4*s. As a general rule, they don't necessarily always perform better, as Miike pointed out. There will sometimes be Champs that excel regardless of the Rarity. Conversely, just because it's a 4* doesn't mean it won't be useful.

This is not the point, I know, but COW has a few dozen duped 6*s so it is possible. If you want to dump a mil or so into this game that is. My point: not everyone has or is willing to drop a mil or 2 into this game so something needs to change so you guys dont end up with a largely disgruntled community.

My point is 6*s are extremely rare and hard to get. Better planning should have been made before the Kabam team decided to throw in a lot of garbage champs in the 6* pool.

They're going to contain much the same Champs that already exist. There are lower-end Champs in the Rarities below. There wouldn't be any game balance at all if the only thing they released as 6*s was God Tier Champs that didn't need to be Awakened.

It's the same with 5*s. I have an abundance of 5*s that aren't a better option than the 4*s I have, just because they're 5*s. There are more useful options, depending on the job.

@Kabam Miike This is fair, but there are so many champs that have zero use in the game in its current state. I love that you're doing both the Spider-Gwen and She-Hulk buff AND the phantom Gamora buff. I'd really like to see more of this in the future. Champs like Colossus, Magneto, Iron Fist, Juggernaut, etc. have little to no value or use in the game.

These should be the "WORST" 6*s you can get:

Winter Soldier, Yellow Jacket, Gamora, CA IW, Nebula, Black Bolt, Juggernaut, Cable, Loki, Bishop, Elektra, Miles, Civil Warrior, Drax

Remove:
Storm, Rocket, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Beast, Thor (Jane Foster), Karnak, Punisher 2099, Cyclops, Magneto, Moon Knight, Rhino, Antman, Hulkbuster

I honestly think very few would complain with this proposed changes. You can still get so-so champs but at least they're not garbage like the ones I'm suggesting to be removed.
