Variant CH3.1

Ok I have googled to my hearts content and for the love of me I can not find an answer to my question so forums it is. Can anyone explain to me how Hela, Angela, Corvus, Hype and Heimdell deal a weakness debuff on Ch3.1 ultron boss?

Why place a weakness debuff on the ultron boss? doesn't that activate both his Impart and mascoisme?
