Act 6 suggestion - compromising on both sides

Before this gets relocated to the act 6 discussion thread aka a black hole

The simplest compromise that kabam could make is rank 5 4* (5/50) be allowed to be used in act 5 for combat and for synergy

If some one wants to use a 4* Heimdale so they have to be willing to spend the t4cc and t4b to get him to 5/50 to unlock it for use in act 6 . This shows commitment to the characters and their use.

This would also allow people who still use 5*less toons in questing (such as scarlet witch or original Thor which do not have a 5* version) or in synergy.

And if kabam really want to make is special add it as a new mastery item (one of those ?) to allow 4* 5/50 into act 6

Suggestion that will most like be ignore in the drowning voices

Actually Thor (og) is mine. It has syn with Angela and heimdale which I use with star lord to round out my aegon team.
Thor rag doesn’t work as a replacement

I wouldn't say its awesome or game breaking for havok. It benefits wolverine more but doubt a 4* wolverine can hang in that content.

When will players realize kabam only cares about the people that will potentially spend money on this game. They don’t care what the average person has to say. If you don’t like this I urge you to stop playing and stop spending.

You are right, they don't care about F2P at all except the game is free and you can progress in the game without spending. But sure, they dont care at all. Its also weird how a for profit company wants to make profit. Totally crazy concept.

Look, are there any ways to work around the requirements for variant? Those are way more strict than act 6 and there is no work around.
Why? Because that's how they designed this piece of content.

Please, please, please at least try to think rationally about this. At least for a few minutes.

Here we go:
Fact is, we don't know anything about act 6 besides the requirements and the rewards. Judging from the difficulty/progression curve set by other pieces of endgame content like variant or the maze, it is extremely safe to assume that act 6 will be harder than those.
It simply wouldn't make any sense to not make it that hard. There are quite a few players that, as soon as act 6 drops, literally would have nothing else to do.
Those are the people this piece of endgame content is aimed at.
And those people... Those poeple should definitely have the nessecary rosters...

Well... Yes...? Just like most parts of the playerbase are left out of act 5. Or the monthly uc event. Chapter 2 of the combat clash last week.

Not all content is for you.

But you know what the best course of action would be at this point?
Stay calm until act 6 gets released.

You're fighting an interpretation of an aspect of something formless. You're fighting windmills.

To be fair I think the original poster was thinking rationally about this, way more rational than anyone else has been on the subject, he proposed an idea that could help the relations between the community and Kabam, which is going down the crapper quicker than the comedy on the late night shows here in America.

Now my own thoughts, so what if that piece of content was designed that way? if the community rejects the quest/mission all that work is for not at that point, variant is a side quest of sort its not actual story, and even then I and many others used 3*'s for some of variant I had to use a 3* archangel to deal with the masochism node in 1.3 of variant. so far here's what we know yes we know the rewards, requirements but we also know the nodes and to be fair that already makes the content seem like a hell-hole. they aren't making that content hard from what we have heard they are making it unreasonable to the point it's pushing people away from the game, not every late game player has a 5* Blade, Ghost Rider, SE, Magik, Doctor Voodoo, Medusa, Hyperion, Quake or Iceman.

most people are staying calm and giving their opinion of what we have heard so far which seems like a load of baloney at this point.

To end this message off I would understand these changes if it was litteraly any other type of game, because here in MCoC it's all luck based there is not for sure chance of pulling any one specific character.( if there was I would have pulled a 5* Magik a long time ago)

I just saw Seatin’s act 6 stream. I wouldn’t touch it with a ten meter pole until I have some decent 5* champs, it there are certainly players who could do it with 4*. A 3* Heimdall might also be useful. Personally, I think banning champs by star is a bad idea, since if content is too difficult for players without stacked champs, then they just won’t be able to complete it. A skill cap for content is fine, but Kabam is taking it a bit far by putting in hard gates where they aren’t necessarily an indication of progression or skill

Synergy champs that don't fight are very common regardless of * level. I used 5* Massacre and 5* Rhulk for domino synergy. Destroyed 6.1.1 and they fought zero fights. If they had been 3*s it would have made no difference. They were worth more than an additional r4 or r5* for my team. I have 4 R5s and lots of r4s as well as 8 6*s and they would have made my team worse for the path I took because the synergy made Domino that much better. Someone with the same team but a lower * Rhulk and Massacre can't do the same thing even though my 5* versions didn't fight.
