I hope one day we will see 6* Featured Arena and 5* Basic Arena as both are needed especially as the game progresses. Especially considering the requirements for Act 6 and just the natural progression of game content. Feel free to comment community.

I hope we see them one day also, but I hope that day is not today. That would be replicating progress mistakes of the past that took a lot of effort and grief to address. The 4*/5* overlap, the featured 5* crystal, the 5* rank up catalyst costs; the 5*/6* curve looks much better to me. If they take all that grief for putting in the 5* gate into Act 6, then immediately allow players to erase it, only to escalate the gates in the rest of Act 6 to compensate, then I would think Kabam was chasing their own tail for no good reason.

The current 5* featured allows 4* through 6* champs. I would expect a 6* featured arena to only allow 5* and up. As much as people think this is a good idea, I can guarantee there would be more negative posts about such an arena than positive. The 4* basic currently allows 3* and 4*; I would expect a 5* basic to allow only 4* and 5* (and maybe 6*). And the idea that 10% of all players qualifying in such an arena could get a 5* champ every three days without major side effects to how other rewards and difficulty are balanced in the game is almost certainly wishful thinking.

I'm sure it will happen one day, but be careful what you wish for. Everybody wanted more 5* shards. The moment Kabam started to give them to us, the 5* featured crystal was doomed, and 6* champions became inevitable. These arenas won't come by themselves. They will herald other changes you might not be as thrilled to see.
