I do all of the events and have 100% the game so far but have 5 t5b but can’t even upgrade my champs because not enough gold

It’s so funny how it’s the same ones arguing it every time, yes a bit of it is resource management but the big issue is the amount of time needed to spend in that dreadful arena. I’ve given in doing lots of arena lately and haven’t been ranking. And I’ve been spending a lot of time in the arena,way more than I should have to. Gold is definitely an issue. But like I said,you hardcore grinders are going to be in every post but eventually the much needed gold realm will be given,it’s inevitable. And when it is given is it really going to ruin your day that much? Don’t give 2 craps about your opinions,There are people in this game that have lives that can’t be wasted grinding in arena. And why do people call those who ask for gold arenas lazy? Even if we do get gold arena/halls of gold as permanent weekly content and stuff, we still have to actually do the content to get the gold, not like people are gonna get gold for free without hard work.

The way I see it, the outcome of having posts demand gold realms can only be nothing happens, or something beneficial happens to the community, so why are people trying to stop gold realm threads?

Edit: And before someone asks in the comments why I don't make the same argument for RDTs, where the outcome either does nothing or benefits the community, it's because kabam have already made their stand that RDTs will not come back, that's why having more people complain about them is pointless. But kabam have not taken a stance on gold realms yet.

Gold realms were autoplayed dont call it hard work.

You still gotta use energy that you otherwise would have used in EQ right? So there's still a cost involved.

For one thing, it just means we get to fast forward a little quicker to the next thing some people will be complaining we don't have enough of. For another thing, it means out of all the players in the game, all of whom are facing shortages of some kind, because that's always the case in a game with resource management like this, some people's problems would be implied to be more important than everyone else's problems just because they complained about a problem whose core nature is intentional. The game would be adding more of something most players don't have a problem with, just to satisfy the few players that are facing that particular problem. That would be unfair in general unless Kabam eventually did that with every resource constraint that people complain about. But that would be madness. Since it cannot be done fairly, it shouldn't be done at all.

There is an intermediate currency in the game that players can use to buy champions (indirectly through fragments), rank up crystal components, or gold. I'd bet that most of the players facing gold shortages don't spend their glory on gold, even though gold is their primary bottleneck, because they think glory shouldn't be spent on that, or that they "shouldn't have to" spend it on gold. But that's what the currency is for. Rather than the game deciding what rewards you get, here's the one place where the player can decide which pile of stuff they have the most need for: gold, cats, or champions to rank up.

The people who want gold events don't just want gold, they want it in a way that doesn't require any compromises: they want something that won't put too large a dent in their playing time, doesn't cost too much energy, and doesn't force them to sacrifice any opportunities for any other rewards. That's anathema to a game with resource management as a primary component of the game.

And it doesn't matter if I face the shortage or not: my opinion would be the same, barring extreme circumstances that were provably global to the game. I don't beg the game developers to add lots of ways for me to gather the resources I am short on, because dealing with shortages is no different than dealing with unstunnable champions. It is a challenge for the players to overcome.

Most of the people in here hit up the first gold realms that gave millions of gold. If you farmed it you were basically set in the game. A lot of newer players didn’t play or really know what it was when it first came out and didn’t run it. The gold realms now give nothing compared to it. If you keep asking enough Kabam will notice just like they did last time and something will be done.

Didn’t run the first gold realms, much less farmed it. I’m donating 540k gold weekly and my gold stash is continuing to grow.

I remember the time that I had a gold shortage (about 2 years back when I was between 250-300k rating), so I controlled my rank ups and only leveled up champs during level up events, grinded the arena for milestones, and magically the gold shortage disappeared and I could rank my champs freely. Never did I complain that more gold should be made available easily (like gold realms).

People will argue that gold realms take energy and is considered “effort”. It’s not, especially when you can auto play it. If Kabam is able to remove the ability to autoplay like setting rarity restrictions, then sure, gold realms are welcome.

I would agree with what DNA is saying. I've seen the various Bottlenecks come and go, and the most current one came around the time they announced 6*s. People decided to forget about 4*s and focus on 5*s. Only, 5*s cost more and take more time by design. They're not as easily-Ranked as 4*s. So, people are running out of Gold because that's the one Resource that requires the most time to accumulate.
Then there was the introduction of the Gold Realms, and that did as much damage as good because it introduced a way to acquire a mass amount of Gold in a relatively short amount of time, for a small amount of effort. The end result is people developed a taste for it, and that combined with spending faster than the design will naturally allow, leaves people depleted. 5*s are meant to take time to Rank, and introducing too much Gold shifts the Bottleneck to something else. No matter what we have, something will be used to slow progression. That's a necessary part of the game.

How you got all your gold is a mystery to me then. According to you you’re free to play and didn’t run the gold realm. The math doesn’t make much sense to me. I’ve done about half the arena as you but I’m assuming I’ve only played half as long and I did the gold realms. I didn’t rank up all my champs and still don’t have that amount of gold. I save all crystals for gold events and sell every bit of expiring iso. I’d like to know how you got that amount when I’m sure I do everything you do. I don’t have a gold issue either but I’m not sitting on 80 million.

No idea. Do you open all your BCs? I might have gotten lucky (unlucky) and pulled a lot more gold from them compared to you.

I really can't stand the "If you had a life like me" guy. Nothing like insulting everyone who doesn't have your problem. I can barely make myself run any arena at all these days. I've got 18 million gold. Some weeks I literally do zero arena. Currently I'm on win streak 3 in the 5* featured arena for 100k points lol. If you haven't managed your resources well and have run out of gold, it will certainly be a problem for you unless you grind arena. It's fine to ask for more gold to become available, and maybe people shouldn't be so quick to shut it down, but don't throw the "everyone without gold issues is a loser" card. Nothing like stroking your own ego and turning your game shortcomings into a badge of honor lol

If we were hardcore grinders we wouldnt have time to be here.. I honestly do about 150 matches a week (includes t4b and t1a)

I grind 1.5m / 4m / 6m milestones which takes me about 60 matches each to hit.

I have 5 5* R5s, 1 6* R2, 13 5* R4s, 26 5* R3s. 8 6*s, all of which are maxed R1. All my 4*s are R3 at least, all my 1/2/3*s are fully maxed out. I have 82m gold sitting in my inventory.

There isn’t a gold problem. Just a resource management problem that people like you don’t want to admit to because it puts the blame squarely on yourself. It’s much easier to blame the game.

Oh yes, and I’m free to play and never been in a Masters or Whale alliance.

About that. It's not necessary to spend all your time playing to have Gold. You just have to manage it within the limits of what you have time for. People have lives and obligations, fair enough. That's no reason to get upset that others have more time to put in. Gold takes time. It takes time to make, and it takes time to save. Any argument that people don't have time to put in is a request for an easy street, I'm sorry. Whether it's Gold, or some other Resource, something will take time. You get what you put into it.

Request for more Gold, that's fine. It really irks me when people are salty with others for having it. We have Gold because we put the time and effort in to maintain it. It's not even a great deal of time in most cases, just means you don't go for broke whenever you get it.

As someone who has a life outside the game I can surely tell you? There is no way you have gold if you actually do have a life outside of the game. I have withheld rank ups for months and not spent an ounce of gold played arena almost 3 days and barely got any gold. But since I have a life outside of the game I have decided not to ever do the arena too much time consuming.
