Auto Join Alliance Lackluster

So I decided that on one of my alts I’d try the auto join alliance feature. 10/10 times it matched me up with non English speaking alliances.
Before the wolves atta k and tell me to be cultured and learn other languages, that’s not the point. My game is in English, my timezone is USA, it should try to at least match me up with a few English alliances. But never once have I gotten that option.
Can we possibly have filters for this auto join. Or have alliances set in game parameters?
