4*'s Index in comparision with 5*'s

So is it always this: Provided with the same champion, 5* always has higher armor rating than 4* at any ranks?

Here are the pics of my 5* GP @ 2/35 compared to one guy's 4* GP @ 5/50

5* has always had higher base stats (defense, blockP ect) than 4*. A 5* r3 is equal in stats to a 5/50. Masteries play into this too
