Can’t Use Rank Up Gem

I have a science Rank Up gem (2-3). I am not able to use it.

Mike mentioned in the 23.0 post that this is a problem with the latest update that will be fixed "in a couple days."

My question, when is "in a couple days?" The Level Up event just started, and but now I can't use the rank up gems I've been saving... Will this update come today? Tomorrow? Next week? Not cool to push out 23.0 and take away the ability for us to use the rewards from this months Variant.

Any ideas why it doesnt work?I got the gold,I got the check mark pointing its eligible
its a 2 to 3 rank up gem so no 2015 restriction...I just cant use it though
