Objectives notifications and dialogues are causing the game to freeze

So I noticed it both in story quest (Act 4 on second account) and Uncollected on primary account. Whenever I received an objectives notification and a dialogue triggered AND I pressed immediately to skip, the game gets stuck on moving images of rocks flying through battlerealm. The character delivering the dialogue also stays there.
