Awaken my new 4* the champion?

Should i awaken my 4* champion that i just got and put him in AW defense after i rank him up? or save my 4* cosmic AG for another champ. I already have my 4* versions of Medusa, hyperion, corvus and carnage duped. Have yet to get a venom though

    Nah the champion isnt worth a gem. I used a 4* cosmic gem on him awhile ago and i regret using it on him
