Mind stone

Is anyone else noticing that the shock damage given in the mind stone is next to useless? How does one beat the mind stone path in new event quest?

With great difficulty. Or just use Captain America with the soul stone. No class bonuses but better than class disadvantages for the next 2 weeks.
