Spider-Man (Stark Enhanced) Refresh taunt does not work?

When playing with it is hardly possible to use this feature only when the enemy uses heavy or special attack that the spider is stop, otherwise it runs over the opponent and does not refresh.
"Dodging back and allowing Spider-Man to idle for 1 second allows him to smack-talk his opponent and refresh an active Taunt."

I did not test on v14.1, but I did not see anything about it.
