Why can the Spider-Gwen in 5-3 evade Venom?

    Read his abilities...
    A champion with a true strike ability won't be able to bypass evade if the true strike isn't active in the first place. Same thing for Venom

    No Venom's Klyntar Buff isn't a True Strike. It is separate and ignores all Evade effects from Spider-Verse Heroes.
    Does the OP have video evidence of this interaction not working?
    (I'm guessing you're talking about the one on the 'easy path' of 5.3.1 (the mystic chapter)? Yeah I did it with SG first and then Venom and he took it down no problem.)

    That was just an example. The point is the same.
    You can't stop evade abilities from spider-verse heroes without the Klyntar buff. The battle the OP is trying to do must have something that keeps nullifying it's buff, like Buffet for example

    Yeah but can you name any Buffet Spider-Gwens in 5.3? I certainly can't.

    I can't login to confirm where she is, but there is one in act 5 at least. Tge OP didn't gave too much info about her location

    I don't have video at the moment. It was the Gwen on the easy path and I was using venom. Will go back in and record this time. Isn't the first time I've encountered this bug
