Ok honestly,what happened with the Beacons? its been nearly half a year and we never got another one,did kabam actually forget about them? Or am i just missing something??

Didn't you buy the next (2nd) Beacon with some Antimatter last month ? Was part of the Human Torch Bounty Missions that were being opened up with Antimatter, a single Antimatter orb was the cost for 2nd Beacon (in the STORE tab).
