A query about Nick Fury's degen limit

I'm just curious as to the reason it was decided that 30% was the correct number to go with. Now I love my Fury and yeah I think 30% works fine but it's just odd to me that considering the only revive a player can purchase takes a champion to 40% why was this number not used?

Like there must be a specific reason for a choice like that and as a Nick Fury player I would just really like to know haha

You can only purchase a 40% but the 20% can be found in login crystals and on quests. Just a guess but looks like they split the difference

Yeah that's what it looks like it but I wonder what element of balance was the deciding factor for it

I think you are looking for logic where they more than likely picked a random %. I think 30% is high enough above suicide masteries range to make him a viable option for attack and difficulty without people losing their minds about having to kill him twice especially with that nice fury buff he gets. It also leaves you semi on the edge so people aren't abusing that buff by sacrificing his clone to get it. 30% is a little more than most combos in an even fight but less than 2 full combos. Just my guess on it

No need to make fury better he is already good enough

He’s supposed to be a high risk/high reward champ, like hulk, thing, etc. You get the damage from being on deaths door. 30% is enough to give you a few parries without dying, but not too much to where you’re comfortable.

You made a post on this before... & it’s getting old. Stop crying about Nick Fury. He is an OP champ that deal nearly 2K Bleed Damage per tick on his light attack. The degen actually keeps him balanced. If you don’t want you Nick Fury, feel free to send him my way. I’ll trade my Sabretooth or Rulk for him any day of the week.

    Don't you think you're overreacting a bit

Ran into this kind of with Hulk vs uncollected Thanos.
20% revives were killing it. Can't buy those.
    40% revives sucked a bit.

I did but sadly never got a response so I don't see the harm in asking again besides its only a question about the thought process behind the champion design. It's such a unique ability that I'm sure there are others who would like to know the answer. Even if it's as simple as "we play tested him at 40% and he never died, then at 20% he died to much" haha
