Ban Using Quake? True or False

I watch this youtube about quake and since then I keep practicing for nearly three months. I am playing now killing some but few opponents without being hit. I am Paranoid to be ban when I read some player was banned because of this. Is this true that i can be banned as some point.

Nope. That player you heard of was banned for something *else*. You will never get banned for such reasons. Go ahead and have all the fun. Quake is unique in herself and the community loves her.

That ban was a mistake made by kabam, people using quake were playing so good that the game thought they were modding the game, it was addressed and they were compensated for the problems caused

Yet for me and others we still continue to have problems with quake but the matter isnt even looked into...typical as always
