New AW map? My alliance feels done.

I’m a highly skilled dedicated player, have quite the roster, and this new AW MAP is causing problems for a roster even I have (tier 2 btw)

Just wondering what other people’s thoughts are? I was already stressing about platinum rewards as they are.. this new map is making me wanna ditch AW all together and make my alliance focus completely on AQ.

Am I being a little over the top here I dunno maybe just outa my comfort zone a little at first glance.

Just wondering how others are feeling at this moment? I’m just fearing a lot of good friends/players I play with at the moment aren’t guna take this update as well and fear they may quit, and ultimately the gaming environment we’ve created as an alliance is what’s keeping me playing...

Is AW worth it anymore?

Just been gauging some feedback from my alliance and it appears this new AW map is a complete disaster. We cracked Plat 3 last season for the first time after being high Gold 1, have many highly skilled players and they are virtually all on the edge of rage quitting.

Consensus seems to be that AW definitely isn’t worth it and AQ may be the way to go.

@Kabam Miike you may wish to take this to the game team. Roll back this new war map to the previous one. It isn’t needed. The whole point of splitting the changes w the new map this season and defence tactics next season was that too much change would be overwhelming.

Yet you’ve rolled out the new AQ season AT THE VERY SAME TIME as the new AW map. This is already overkill. Have a look at the forums they will soon become littered with topics like this. Save the game while you can please.

AQ has been the superior game mode for rewards since the update, especially for tiers below master. Since the rewards still aren't updated, I imagine we'll see even more alliances shift to an AQ focus this season.

I mean, I posted because I feel this map we are playing right now pretty much forced deaths. Like it’s absolutely ludicrous, I’m genuinely fearing moments in this upcoming season where I doubt myself or any other player in my alliance can take down certain champs on some of these nodes.

I feel like players especially at a higher tier are being forced into a corner where we are like “well I’m guna die” but “what’s my best options of dying”

Some of these nodes are literally crazy, and I’ve sat for hours thinking of a “perfect team” amongst 3 said players and it’s simply too specific, yet this game isn’t meant to be about having certain “specific” champs.

Again smite me down all lord all mighty if you feel like I’m whining.... but Jheeze guys, this stuff is really, really hard, I’d pay to see some of you guys at the office clear this stuff confidently.

It’s literallt a joke.

My alliance are in gold 2 and ran 2 bgs for all of season 9, if we ran 3 I am sure we couldve gotten gold 1 since we were already so close. Even the most hardcore and strong players in my ally are on the fence about this new season and I would like my alliance to fully switch to 66666 instead of 56566 which we are doing now.

Poor guys. The match is totally lopsided, but pretty sure they are all going to quit the game after this experience😅

I think everyone is a little overwhelmed atm. But you just have to decide, am i going to keep giving into this nonsense or just say screw it. I for one will not be using items to win war. I'm in gold 1 tier 3 and its probably going to make the alliance switch to focusing on aq 6x5. I'd prefer that Anyways, but that's just me. Every new season of aw we have to get used to the setup, but not on my dime. Hopefully things will get taken care of if enough players voice their displeasure.

I welcome the challenge, always been one to look forward to endgame stuff.... but this? This makes me wanna pack my bags and run to AQ.

This is our problem. We only do 1 BG and usually the early players run the sides and the later players run the middle. Now the early players are stuck. Too much coordination required.
We are thinking of just running 1 of the last 3 sections so we can attempt the boss or just create a new alliance and run the easier map to have some fun.

Interesting that kabam was stupid again... launching new AW map and new update to AQ on the same freaking day... this was poor planing by kabam. And most alliances will feel the stress of trying to lead AQ and AW with some major changes. I know our ally has chosen not to revive for our first AW with this overcharged map.

Nodes aside, I also really dislike the layout of this map. Having to rely on almost every single member being able to join in the beginning or else everyone else is stuck, is so frustrating. You can't adjust much with everyone's different schedules. The previous layout was more much flexible. Got someone who can't get in til the next day? No problem just send them down 5 or 8. Got someone in a different timezone who can't go back and forth on nodes? Great send them on 7 or 9 or 1.

But this map? Nope. Got a couple people who have IRL stuff going on? Too bad. Everyone has to wait because all 9 paths need to be started on to be able to finish the first section, unless you force people to fight through a lot of stuff noded when they shouldn't have to.

Maybe this isn't a problem for super active alliances where everyone joins in two hours, but I'm sure most people arent able to schedule their lives around war. And we shouldn't have to.
