Uncollected 15% off deal expires because of emergency maintenance

I was planning on spending 2900 units on 15% off deal. But now I can't because timer expired due to emergency maintenance. Now it's full price.

WTH now I can't buy this cuz I don't want to pay full price. Kabam went into emergency maintenance before I could buy $99.99 dollars worth of units.

There was a 15% discount for 30 mins (which was scuppered by the emergency maintenance) and the offer was for 12 hours (instead of 24).

It's pretty simple.
Step 1: sees offer and wants to buy it. Realises he/she doesn't have enough units.
Step 2: goes to purchase units so he/she can buy the offer.
Step 3: purchases offer and gets resources.

Emergency Maintenance occurs between Step 1 completion and enaction of Step 3.

I personally think that a good solution to this sort of problem (which has happened for a number of timed events) is that Kabam should pause the timers on all offers and timed 'you need to complete this event in a limited time after entering this quest' quests.
