AW Silver 2 map placement?

I just wanted to know if my alliance battle group is full a whole 10/10 and everyone places 5 champions why does it still leave five blank spots open?is there a node to many on the map? This never happened on silver 3 or lower maps a full battle group meant every node was used

    Silver-2 vs Silver-3 doesn't matter as far as what Map you play on. That is based on Tier you are in for that war (cutoff is between Tier 12 and 13, at the point of 5* rewards), notwithstanding the potential of coin-flip to determine if you match against a team just on the other side of that cutoff. But Tier (from War Rating) versus Silver 2/3 (from Season Points) is probably around that cutoff anyways between “Intermediate” and “Normal (lesser)” Map, so probably just feels like it was based on which Silver you were.

    BUT to answer your question... There are always 55 potential Hero nodes in War, no matter which Map you’re on. 5 will always remain empty (even if full 10 people), so your alliance has to strategize as to what nodes to leave blank.
