Roster for 6.1

I keep thinking about going for Cavalier. I have watched plenty of videos and read up on it, but still struggle to figure out how to go about it. Which paths and who to use. Based on my roster should I even be looking at it? Or am I going to get stuck somewhere? Anyone I need to bring up for a certain path?
