Unless you’re targeting a specific champion and have most of the decent champions already you should go basic. Especially as outside of the featured champs, this 5* featured is pretty woeful

Um I hope you meant 20k 5 star shards. If you only have 2k, you’re only 20% of the way to a 5* basic. In any case, if you’re a new player, I’d go for basics instead of the featured ones.

I'd go for a basic, you get two five stars and you'd probably get trash from the featured crystal.
