Ghost vs killmonger

Don’t know if this is supposed to happen I don’t really understand why it would but...

I was using ghost with wasp synergy against a Killmonger in arena, and after he threw sp1 so he had counterpunch charge, he was blocking, I phased and immediately threw sp2 (all hits crit/unblockable) and he blocked all of them and was unstoppable.

This doesn’t make sense, right?!

But blocking an unblockable hit shouldn’t activate counterpunch unstoppable...? It would be like blocking a heavy (assuming they don’t have stand your ground mastery) if I am using killmonger and block an unblockable hit I get knocked down and unstoppable doesn’t activate.

Also he didn’t take the (normal..critical hit) damage.

I haven’t changed what I said...? The post is about him blocking an unblockable hit

KM throws sp1
I evade
I go in for three hit combo
Dash back (phase) imediately hit sp2
Right as I dash back he puts up block
All three of my unblockable, guaranteed crit hits hit into his block. Each hit is blocked. Each hit activates unstoppable. None of my hits do damage

I’m not sure why you think I am suddenly saying he WASN’T blocking?

It does say he has “increased crit resistance in base stats” but a lot of champs do. I guess I don’t know if that decreases the CHANCE of a crit hit or decreases the DAMAGE from crit hits. Either way, ghost has guaranteed crits. I know there is a discussion about critical hits interaction with glance mechanic but that’s a special case
