Uncollected with 4* champs?

Currently on Act 5 but only have a few average 5* champs. As a f2p player getting 5* takes a loooong time. I have a number of god tier 4*s, all at 4/40 atm, will rank up to 5/50. Is it possible to beat the collector with them or do I have to wait for 5*s? Thanks

@zattree1 Short answer: YES it is definitely possible to do it with 4*s.
Long answer: You will want to take your team to 5/50 before collector and personally I'd take them all to 5/50 before you hit 5.2. You might be crazy skilled and may even be able to do it with 3*s, but I'd think you'd find 5/50s a lost easier to play against 5.2 nodes and bosses than 4/40s. You will save tons of revives with 5/50s bottom line.
However, preferably, I want to really recommend to have at least one God tier 5* 4/55. Many might disagree but if you are an average player like me, you will notice a big difference in damage/survivability with 5 4/55s than any maxed out 4*s.

That's the way I did it.
A few revives and health potions and he was down.
He's not actually that difficult if you have a solid damage dealer or well, stark Spidey.

I got uncollected with 4* team, so it’s possible. Just will use more revives and potions

I did it with 5/50's and I'm no good. 4* duped Hulk put in work on the collector (I used a class gem and took him to R5 just for this fight)

My strategy was to take two path clearers, two to deal with the boss and one niche champ depending on the path.

i once fought the collector on my Brothers mobile, i personally didnt reach there with my account, yet. I had more Problems to get to the collector then fighting him ^^ The 3 star and 4 star maxed Versions of Sparky did it!
He and Woodoo are very solid champs for the collector, Vision (both, duped) are very good too, because the most annoing Thing about the collector are his nearly undodgable sps!
