Does changing mastery impact AW/AQ?

I want to play around with my masteries to try suicide masteries for first time, but we're in middle of AW and AQ. Would my AW/AQ attack and defense team have an impact if I change masteries now? Or are they locked with the masteries with which they started?

    When I did my LOL run it was free mastery configuration and I switched constantly. Once you place your defense they are locked. Changing masteries will not affect your defense once it is placed @f9_abs. If you rank or dupe a defender once they are placed that won't affect them either.
