Is Doctor Octopus worth rank 4 duped? If so is he good for AWD, AQ, or just questing? Thanks in advance.

Not really. He is niche and what ever you need him for can usually be done at R3. There are many better Tech champs

I have 2 buds who have doc oc at r4. One unduped and the other duped and they both don't regret their decision. Sometimes he hits mediums for 4k+. His heavy can do up to 15k+ damage in direct damage (a red color) so not counting regular hits. Utility that isn't that hard if you learn how to use him.

They primarely use him to fight emma frost, iceman and sabretooth and other annoying mutants. Plus if he's done his job against the mutants he's more than a decent path clearer. I you need someone who fills that role in your team rank him up.

He’s a solid r4 option but isn’t the best r4 option, he has his uses but as people have already said he tends to be able to do that at rank 3

Doc Octopus is best Utility champ; against Power Gain & Regen Champ. So If these are your primary things then go for it.

He's good at what he does
He can be great for power lock and heal block
He's definitely fun to play and has good utllity but I would leave him r3
